Here you will learn to recognise important groups of mushrooms and use an identification key to assess their suitability for consumption or their toxicity. The knowledge you gain will enable you to enjoy mushrooms safely without having to identify each species in detail. In addition to the identification of popular mushroom species, we also cover exciting topics such as the functions of mushrooms, indicator plants, finding good collecting areas, the influence of the weather and the different ways in which mushrooms eat. Enjoy a lively and informative journey through the world of mushrooms!

Please note that, depending on the weather, it is not always possible to find the same number of mushrooms.

The flora excursion will be led by Dominik Imhof (uchruut.ch) and only in Swiss German.
